The Cube is also necessary in Act 3 to transform Khalim’s body parts and flail into Khalim’s Will. You will find the cube when completing the quest 'The Horadric Staff'. The Horadric Cube is found in Act 2 in the Halls of the Dead Level III. The Staff is then placed onto the Alter of Kings in Tal Rasha’s Tomb where you fight the Act 2 boss, Duriel. The cube is used during Act II for transmuting the Staff of Kings & the Viper Amulet into the Horadric Staff. It can be used for upgrading gems, runes, items & also for socketing items or re-rolling the stats on items.
